There are only 1,440 minutes in each 24-hour day. At Project 1440 our mission is to make positive differences in the lives of young people every minute of the day. Project 1440 formed as a non-profit 501 C (3) program, which began out of a need to mentor and serve “At Risk” youth involved with court systems and juvenile delinquent activities.
Our Vision is to create an interactive teaching and learning environment where all young people can openly communicate, engage, socialize, and positively express themselves free of any judgements or bias.
Our Job Shadowing programming is a learning experience for young people to observe a professional at work, gain knowledgeable experience and obtain a better understanding of employment ethics and career choices.
At Project 1440, we are devoted to enhancing the lives of young people through our Community Exploration Program.
Expressive Art Therapy will help young people express their real-life experiences and creativity through art.
The Tuesday Reign Organization will present Project 1440, Summer Basketball League.
After school enrichment programming (tutoring).
Family support services (Parenting classes, Sibling support groups).
Independent living skills and workforce development. (an additional
independent living skills program for young people and adults with Autism and special needs).
Community teen mentoring program
Community food pantry.
Out-patient mental health skills building and referrals
The intent of this tournament is not only to get young people involved with playing cans, but to get them involved as active team members in organizing, marketing and planning for the Tournament.
The event will raise awareness about Autism and support preventive methods to reduce the risk of Autism in young children.
The basketball league will provide a positive outlet for young people in Elizabethtown to participate in basketball games over the summer months.
